Regional networks leading the way over PSN

Updata takes center stage at the PSN Summit North 2014, held on Wednesday 10th September 2014 at The Royal Armouries in Leeds.

Session Overview:

Organisations like Essex County Council have proved that bringing together several public sector bodies onto the same network can drive down the cost of procurement, reduce duplication of services and increase collaboration between organisations.
We believe that regional networks are the perfect vehicle to access the benefits of the PSN. Smaller public sector organisations are able to build PSN accredited networks within their budget by pooling with the organisations around them and sharing the cost.
We will look at organisations like Staffordshire & Shropshire Health Informatics Service and Cheshire & Merseyside PSN who have procured PSN accredited networks, pooled resource and saved money both with and without regional networks.

Updata Speakers:

  • Mark Brennan, Client Director
  • Martin Gould, PSN Programme Manager
